Airside Tracker

The Aircraft and Vehicle Tracker provides live and post-flight tracking functionalities of aircraft and airside vehicles in the Terminal Manoeuvring Area (TMA) of an airport with ultra-high update rates. It is therefore used for ground vehicle tracking and to monitor flight movements even in terminal near areas of the airport. In the airspace live tracking of aircraft in the TMA can be observed to know at any time which aircraft are entering the airspace and on which Runway they will be landing.

Live Tracking

It is possible to track aircraft and airside vehicles (equipped with ADS‑B transponders) in real-time with a general radius of 100NM around the airport. Different coloring modes and highlighting with aircraft labels support simple recognition.

Post-Flight Tracking

The post-tracking functionality is optimized to play-back certain traffic situations at different speed levels and to visualize them directly on the map. There are additional functions to include wind information to observe specific aircraft/vehicle’s trajectories.

Data Quality

The Aircraft and Vehicle Tracker is optimized for the Terminal Maneuvering Area (TMA) of an airport. With the help of airside-optimized Aeroficial Intelligence ADS‑B receivers, movements are available with ultra-high update rates of approximately 1s.

Benefits

With its high resolution and the function to playback historic traffic situations, the Airside Tracker provides various benefits. Furthermore, the situational awareness is increased tremendously through the use of the tool.
