During taxi processes and especially during peak times the airside gets congested by queues and waiting times before takeoff and after landing. Getting a clear picture on how the congestions develop over time is important to measure improvements and take actions to reduce the overall emissions at the airport.
Continuous Descent Operations
Continuous descent approaches are important measurements for airports to reduce noise emissions over housing areas. With the analytics capabilities of the Performance Cockpit, CDO shares and developments can be easily detected and improvement programmes monitored.
It is often hard to monitor and analyse de-icing processes. In Analytics it is possible to keep track of important key figures such the average duration of de-icing processes or detailed information on how long de-icings had taken at particular pads. In addition it is possible to check different aircraft types and operators on a daily basis. Furthermore there is no manual input required, which eliminates errors in the manual input process, while data quality remains very high. All data and KPIs can be downloaded or used via APIs for further processing in A-CDM or the AODB.
Getting a clear picture on the duration of pushback times and stops for each gate position at the airport provides valuable information for internal improvement and better OTP. The data can be directly used for A-CDM or applications to enhance the departure process.
Runway throughput is an important measurement to observe how target values are reached with the existing runway system. With the Performance Cockpit it can be observed on a continues basis how many movements are operated per runway. Runway Occupancy Time takes a primary part in the overall throughputand capacity efficiency of the airport. These values can be shown for any airport and runway system.
As an Airport it is important to be aware of any safety-critical events during landing of flight movements. Tailwind affects the required take-off and landing field lengths, especially on contaminated runways, which may lead to runway overruns, unstable approaches, hard landings or go-arounds. By measuring the tailwind landings, safety risks can be monitored and identified at any airport with the help of KPI dashboards.
This module shows the influence of gate positions, routings and vacation exits on the overall taxi times of aircraft. By having this insight available, airports are able to evaluate potential measures to reduce the overall taxi times in order to lower emissions and eliminate bottlenecks.
The Performance Cockpit provides information on turnaround and parking times for each gate position. You can use the turnaround times to find out whether a gate position is over utilised and leads to bottlenecks on the taxiways beyond.

TMA Flight Tracks provides a visualisation and summary of inbound and outbound flight tracks in the surrounding area of any airport. For airports it is mainly used for enhancing transparency in communication with communities affected by aircraft noise and to comply with mandatory requirements.
With the tracking capabilities, Aeroficial provides airside vehicle tracking. The vehicles must be equipped with ADS-B technology, so that the Performance Cockpit can display any live movements on the ground. Vehicle tracking can be used to know the location of any airside vehicle at the airport at any point in time, so that communication can be done more efficiently.
